An aging cop is assigned the ordinary task of escorting a fast-talking witness from police custody to a courthouse. There are however forces at work trying to stop prevent them from making it.
Rating:7/10 Bruce Willis once again does a good job in his role of a brokendown cop who is on the verge of retirement, with a drinking problem. Well actually, this is nothing to new to him, but he stills does a good job with this. Mos Def was pretty enjoyable in his role, even though his voice would get a little irritating from time to time. He actually does a good job of just rattling n and on. I liked the chemistry between Willis and Def. I lied the little interplay going on between them. David Morse, another good actor, did a good job as a dishonest cop and brought a real intensity to the movie that had some great intensity as well. Even though I liked the humor that was brought to this film, it did detract from this a little. It was also a bit predictable. You could see things a mile away. And the hints weren't so sublte. Several of the scenes that they tried to pass off as believable, sure weren't that. Still this was a pretty intense movie with the right people in the right roles, which made this a pretty entertaining movie with an interesting premise.
