Freddy Vs. Jason.  Those three words should be the only reason to watch this movie.  It does take awhile to set up, but once the fight starts, it is very cool to watch.  Yeah at the end, the battle seems to go on a little too long, but you do get a clear cut winner at the end, believe it or not.  There isn't much for story, because it is about FvJ.  Robert Englund and newcomer Ken Kirzinger handle the duties of the horror icons extremely well, with Kirzinger being a pleasant suprise.  This had just enought elements to keep the movie interesting.  I really enjoyed this movie, but I wasn't expecting a cinematic masterpiece.  As long as you take this movie for what it is, you should be able to enjoy it.
