This TV movie was billed as a zany kind of comedy, but that was the farthest thing from the truth. I think this movie was more dramatic and if they would have tried to make this more of a drama than a comedy, I could see this movie working. The real problem with this movie was that it was so stereotypical. This movie brought absolutely nothing new to the military academy genre of comedy/action movies. This moviem was way too predictable. The dialogue was pretty bad and the acting from the children were also atrocious. Nothing worked for this movie. There were not many jokes and the joles that were used didn't even get a smile from me. I remember watching this movie on television when I was twelve and I loved it then, but now, I wished I never would have watched it and kept the illusion of my childhood for this movie as a postive. Robert Conrad and Red West were alright in their roles but they seemed kind of bored with this. Red West's character with the little girl was kind of touching when you find out that the little girls father died of lung cancer the year before, but that was it. These were the only positives that I could find with this. This is really a time waster and I really can't recommend this.
