Where do you start when you watch a movie that you just did not really enjoy. I guess I will start with some positives because there were a couple of things I did like about this. The actor who played the sheriff really got into his role and made it work. He was having a lot of fun with his role and it translated pretty well. The music that tried to create atmosphere and tension would have worked well, if this movie wouldn't have been so bad. And this was a bad movie. The acting was atrocious. I was so annoyed with the actress who played Samantha. She was awful. And the swearing in the begining was so gratuitious that it was sickening. When every other word has an f bomb dropping, it does get sickening. Hey, I'm no prude, but come on. There can't be this much stupidity in dialogue can there. And speaking of the script. Was there anyting original. Anythying? Nope, all the cliches were there and right where they shouid have been. The twisted ankle, the vehicle not starting right away, the parts when you think someone has gotten away from a killer and they spin around and right there he is. Granted there were several killers, but for one to just magically appear. This movie borrowed from so many other movies that it was just not right. Even the barn looked like the one used in the Friday the 13th movies. This was so predictable, you just knew what was going to happen next. I can't believe I did not fall asleep watchign this. I just about did, but I did not. A couple of funny lines, a different kind of gore scene with the Samantha character and the man who played the sheriff could not save this stinker. If you want to watch a horror movies with cliches all over, watch Behind the Mask:the Rise of Leslie Vernon, because this is not really worth the time.
