Rating:9/10 When I was a little kid, I remember watching the Poseidon Adventure. It scared the crap out of me, but I couldn't look away. The tidal wave, the flooding of the dining hall, the people dying along the way of their to safety and freedom. I watched it again tonight and it still affects me the same way. One thing I noticed was that when the ship was leaning, I was leaning with it. The characters were so well developed that they had their own personalities, their own quirks that it became easy to identify with them. The dialogue was a little cheesy andsome of the acting was a little over the top, but still the cast was amazing. I didn't like the kid though. He was just too obnoxious. The story was quite unpredictable. You could never tell who was going to be the next one to sacrifice themselves or die in an accident. The special effects really made this movie though. Twenty five, thirty years before Titanic, and the effects can almost match up with that piece of garbage(Titanic is not very good). Watchi this movie, you won't be bored.
