A campy movie that is fun to watch.  Actors Richard Carlson and Richard Denning play off each very well, having excellent chemistry with each other.  The creature was pretty good as well.  I liked how the director wanted the people who watched this to use their imaginations rather than have people see the out and out horror scenes.  The underwater sequences are very well done and very beautiful as well.  This is a pretty suspeneful movie that is well paced and with a good cast.  Universal did pretty well with the creation of the Gill Man.  I enjoyed this movie very much!
