Horror classic in which an obsessed scientist assembles a living being from parts of exhumed corpses.
Rating:8/10 One of the things about the older black and whites, especially in the '30's, was that it always seem to have a bit too much dialogue. Not this one. Not a wasted scene here folks. This is one of the original horror films. The acting was very good, especially Karloff. Karloff, a relative unknown, made the most of his time in the movie. He had no dialogue and didn't have a lot of scenes. His makeup job was excellent. Just as good back then as today. The one thing I didn't like was the tacked on happy ending, but considering with what the director had to work with at the time, I guess that was the only way to go. This is one of the great horror classic films of all time, and it will still stand the test of time.
