A former neo-nazi skinhead tries to prevent his younger brother from going down the same wrong path that he did.
Rating:9/10 One of the most powerful movies based on racial tension. What this movie does, is show the ugliness on both sides of the racial divide, even though it was more prevalent with the neo nazis. Thw two murders that were hate crimes were highly inmpactful. I will never ever forget the curbstomp. I won't explain it, I won't even try. You have to see it to believe it. I stood straight up in my chair when I seen what happened. The other murder was highly impactful as well and makes you wonder what might happen when Edward Norton's character has just reformed. Speaking of Edward Norton, this guy showed a great deal of range. Edward Norton was actually quite disturbing by protraying his character as brutal and yet intelligent. There was quite a good deal of chemistry between Norton and Edward Furlong, who was also excellent as the younger brother who is following his brother's footsteps. Therest of the cast was quite well as they all created quite a bit of tension that you could feel on screen. I also loved the way the black and white scenes were interwoven with the color scenes. This is a very controversial movie that has quite a good message, but this really isn't a movie for the family. There is a lot of foul language and some nudity. There is one brutal scene in the shower at a prison. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started watching this, but was so pleasantly surprised. I can't believe that not too many people have heard of this and if you are of those people, check this out. This is well worth the watch.
