Incident on a Dark Street was a TV movie that was a television pilot for ABC called The Prosecutors.  But after the pilot, the show was canceled.  After watching this, I can see why.  Utterly boring.  The three men who were supposedly the leads were not in this as much as they shold have been.  But I guess the writers could not come up with enough interesting material, so they focused more on the bad guys and the main witnesses.  Speaking of one of the main witnesses, Richard Castellano(you may remember him from the Godfather), was the only interesting character in this and had a lot of screen time.  The scene with the street sweeper chasing him down the street was both hilarious and classic(in a hilarious sense).  That's not good if you are making a law drama television show.  William shatner had some screen time in this.  I can't remember the last time Shatner played a bad guy, but you have to see that mustache on him to believe it.  It does not look right.  Really a poor television movie with a few highlights, but better left alone.
