Rating:3/10 After watching this trailer, I really wanted to see this movie. I thought that this was going to be a no holds barred fight with Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu, when at the end, they team up to beat the bad guys. Pretty predictable fare, but it was something I was looking forward to. I wasn't expecting much of a story. And I didn't get it, that's for sure. This movie was just explosion after explosion after explosion. A friend of mine commented that this was like watching The Marine. The difference was that The Marine was fun to watch, because the people making that movie weren't making such a serious film to the point where it was a turn off. This movie was taken so seriously. It wasn't fun to watch. Not at all. No tension at all during the action scenes. They were just flat. For an action movie, this was too boring. There were however a couple of decent scenes. The first was when Lucy Liu was shooting at a guy while he was atop a building and he feel off. Watching him fall all the way down until he hit the car was either really good stuntwork or amazing special effects. Either way, amazing shot. The other scene I thought was funny was when Antonio Banderas was sitting in this room with a little girl. The girl went to her father and asked why the man was so sad. The father replied that he was sad because he got beat up by a girl(Lucy Liu). Very funny there. A little more levity and humor really could've helped this movie, but nope. It was a disappointment.
