I was never a real big fan of the martial arts genre. Sure, I've watched some movies, but I just never got into it. I've never even seen a Bruce Lee movie until I watched Enter the Dragon. I must say that I am very impressed with his skills. This guy is amazingly quick. There was one scene that blew me away and that is in the final fight and he is fighting the evil Mr. Han. He did a kick that was so fast that I actually had to stop to see it again. I'm the kind of guy that doesn't stop a flow of a movie to see something again, but I had to see that kick. The man can also act and brings a lot of charisma to the screen. The supporting characters portrayed by John Saxon and Jim Kelly were very charismatic and these actors also had some skills. Well, Kelly moreso that Saxon, but it is easy to take an immediate liking to these guys. The story is very basic and it really doesn't bring to much new, but then again, we really don't watch martial arts movies for the stories now do we. This is a fun movie to watch and watching Bruce Lee fight was incredible. I would like to see what he could do against others of our time, but unfortunately we all know what happened. And that is a big loss. So if you get a chance, check this film out, even if you are not a martial arts fan. It is very impressive.
