Jigsaw kidnaps a doctor to keep him alive while he watches his new apprentice put an unlucky citizen through a brutal test.
Rating:8/10 I was so pleasantly suprised with Saw III. This movie brings up the franchise into a whole new level. There was more blood and gore than the previous two, and yet it still told a good story. Remeber, though, like in the first two, you have to pay attention. The clues are there, you just have to figure it out. And I'm so proud of myself in which I was able to figure out one of Jigsaw's twists. There are more than one twist with this movie and the way the movie ended, there will be a sequel. Usually I'm pretty good about being able to handle gore and death scenes in horror movies. But the gore was brought to a whole new level and even got to me. There were several scenes in which I cringed at. The traps were really cool looking, but it was impossible to make some of these traps with two people. But the tension was built as people were going through their tests. The acting was excellent as with all the Saw movies. Not one weak performance in the whole bunch. But there were several flaws that did detract from the movie. I'm not going to say what they are, just in case some still want to see this at the theater, but I will tell you one thing. You won't be disappointed if you are a fan of the first two.
