One thing Denzel Washington can do is take a role and bring a sense of realism to it.  Once again, Denzel doe s a great job with this role in Out of Time, a film noir type movie.  He had great chemistry with John Billingsley, as he was a great as the comic relief.  Eva Mendes was pretty good as well.  I mean, the story is pretty simple, but the entire cast did quite a good job with it.  The first half hour starts a little slow, but once the ball starts rolling, it keeps building momentum and doesn't let up until the end.  It is also quite clever as you have to use your brain a bit to watch this movie and keep up with the twists and turns involved.  An enjoyable movie if you are into the film noir type.
