I guess this wasn't the movie I was expecting.  If you have ever seen the trailer for this, than you would be expecting to be getting a good horror/comedy.  Now don't get me wrong, this movie did have some very funny parts in the begining and the last scene had a very funny yet unexpected line that popped out of nowhere.  But when the comedy was done and the horror kicked in, it just wasn't funny and I guess maybe I was expecting more from this.  It is kind of violent(duh!) as several of the scenes had me cringe and there were two deaths that had mental abuse all over them for the way those deaths were delivered.  And the guy who got knifed was also unexpected.  The movie goes at a very quick pace, but it was basically a by the numbers slasher/horror movie except for who survived.  That was a bit unpredictable though.  But if you decide to watch this don't hold this up to the high standards of Shaun of the Dead as people compare the two.  Sorry, no comparison as Shaun of the Dead is in its own league, but this still was a likable movie and at least worth the rental.
