This is one of the more unique kind of movies that is out there. Made back in 1984, it does show that the movie is outdated by the rap music in the background(you can hear it once or twice) and the video games that are being played. But what really makes thuis movie so unique is that the main character played by Joe Morton(Smallville and Eureka) never utters one word through out the whole movie, even though he has a lot of charisma. The Brother, played by Morton, show a kind of innocence by his actions. Morton conveys more meaning and feelings with his gestures, body language and expressions than most actors could. I'm not sure there are too many actors who really could have pulled off this kind of role. Bill Cobbs was also excellent in a small and very funny role sitting with poeple giving his opinions about the world. It kind of reminded me of Cedric the Entertainer in his role in the Barbershop movies. The men in black are funny trying to pass themselves off as immigration officers trying to find The Brother. It has been quite awhile since I seen this movie, but it still has the same good feeling it had many years ago when I first watched it. It might be hard to find, but it is worth the watch at least.
