Rating:7/10 An adequate sequel with some suprisingly good acting. Welcome to the Friday the 13th series, the most notorious killer in motion picture history, Jason Voorhees. This actually had quite a bit of suspense through out the movie and it kept me on the edge of my seat. There was even a scene that made me jump out of my chair. We get some decent gore, but most of the killings seem to be off screen, which at times can be good and leave something to the imagination. John Furey and Amy Steel as the leads had very good chemistry. I've like Amy Steel in many of the roles she has played. Very good job done by both leads. The begining of the story really sets the tone though, by Jason battling the survivor of the last movie. It was actually quite an interesting way to open the movie. This is a very adequate sequel and worthy of at least a look.
