Children of Dune is a very long movie.  It took me two days to sit down and watch it.  I sure couldn't watch it in one sitting.  The acting wasn't that great.  In fact several actors were overacting so bad, I was suprised that the director didn't wince.  The story was too intricate as well.  You really had to pay attention or you wold get lost.  I found myself having to go backa couple time to try and figure out what happened.  It got a little annoying.  The special effects and the scenery were amazing.  It has far surpassed many of the big screen movies as fas as that aspect goes.  There were several times that I would look in amazement at the scenery.  The giant worms were awesome looking.  Looked a lot better than the ones in Tremors, that for sure.  But be prepared, this does get boring watching this.
