There were many times I was looking at the cover of this movie and I kept saying to myself that this movie can't be any good. I wasn't too sure if I wanted to watch this. I kept putting it off and putting it off, and then I said what the heck. I will usually watch a horror movie knowing how bad it is and still watch it. I was glad I changed my mind about watching this, because this movie is a very pleasant surprise. Usually when you see that a horror movie is a direct to video release, you know there are problems. But there weren't too many with this. The biggie though was that it did take some time to develop. And it did get a bit boring, but after the first beheading, this movie really picked up. Not only was the pace pretty quick, but this had several laugh out loud moments to it. The scenes between Dmitri and Boris were hilarious and the two brothers(Peter and Yuri) had me cracking up big time. The killer, who is a descendent of Ivan the Terrible was just as hilarious. Watching him prance around like he was in the ballet before he killed his victims were pretty funny too. My first thoughts on seeing this was what the heck is going on? But he also got funnier as this went along. Also Bill Murray's daughter, Jamie Murray was pretty good in this as well. This was actually a very favorable movie that if you watch it, don't take it too seriously, because you are taking the fun out of this movie. Just sit back with a bag of popcorn and some beer, because this was well worth the watch.
