A high school outcast who lives in a trailer with his mother finally meets a friend. He wants to ask her if they can go the next step, but then sees her kissing another boy at a party. He runs home only to find his mother having sex with a drunk. He starts yelling, but is countered by the drunk when he suffocates him and makes him look like he hung himself. The scarecrow comes in when the boy's soul is pushed into it. He goes out for revenge.
Rating:2/10 If it wasn't for how cool the scarecrow looked, this would have gotten a lower rating. My God, I couldn't believe how bad this was. What is it that filmmakers are thinking of when they take people in their late twenties and try to get them looking like they are in their teens? Gotta do a better job than that pal. Lester, the main character looked like the same age as his mother. Of course, there is not one ounce of originality in this story either. We've seen this hundred of times in movies, in either the horror genre or superhero movies. Not a thing new here. I had to laugh out loud at how bad some of this was. These one liners were just making me shake my head. These one liners were worse than anything I've ever seen in comic books, that's for sure. I didn't see one good shred of acting here. I thought I seen it for a moment, but nope, it wasn't there. This also had some fo the worst dialogue ever. Beavis and Butthead had more meaningful dialogue that fit more into what they were doing. Put this back into the rental rack, it is not worth wasting your time for. There are better things and more meaningful things to do. Like watching paint dry.
