Rating:10/10 I knew that Battle Royale was going to be good. I didn't realize it was going to be this good. The acting was so well done by the entire cast. This kids don't look like they are in their twentys. The all look like teenagers and look very young. This movie is something that you won't forget. Watching friends kill each other or commit suicide to stay alive, it felt like you shouldn't be watching, but you just couldn't turn away. I found myself becoming attached to the characters, even the minor ones. This is a pretty grisly film and there are some very disturbing death scenes. What really caught me off guard was when the kids were leaving the compound and the big kid killed one of the girls with his crossbow. That was the first kill done by one of their own and that really caught me off guard. This isn't a movie for everyone. Thje shocking death scenes and the brutality of this movie, will turn away some viewers. This is a very gutsy movie to make, especially with the recent killings and attempted killings of students towards their teachers and other students. This is a compelling movie that should make you think about our society today. It could actually be looked at in two different ways. But that is for you to watch and figure out for yourself as I give this the highest recommendation.
