This was such an absolute delight of a movie.  From the opening scene and dialogue from Doctor Forrester all the way to the end, I had at the very least a smile watching this.  Many times I found myself laughing out loud.  It was funny watching Mike and the robots making fun of This Island Earth.  And you can tell there was more money put into this than the telelvision show as production values and the set looked a lot better than normal.  And of course, the jokes could be a little bit more risque, which brings in the giggle factor for us who like jokes with the lowest common denominator.  I loved how Mike and robots would try to imitate characters on screen.  Sure the bits and pieces in between the movie was a little weak, but it was still pretty decent.  There are episodes of this show that are better, but I really loved the TV show, so I have no problem giving this a higher rating.  I am really glad that this was rereleased on DVD as it was very hard and expensive to get a copy.  Great movie, not for everyone though as some people don't seem to get the sense of humor that is used, but if you do have a different kind of sense of humor, then this movie is defintely for you.
