Rating:8/10 Sometimes it is nice to just sit back and watch a simple story. Nothing too complicated, no twists. No turn at every corner. Just a simple story. That is what Paparazzi delivers. No award winning material here, but just fun to watch. Paparazzi is just a simple story of revenge. That's it. This could've easily been The Count of Monte Cristo. But this movie was short and sweet. It had a running time of 84 minutes. No wasted shots or movement. This movie was fast paced and had always something going on to keep me glued to the screen. The actors they had were quite amazing with several cameos from others as well. I've always seen Cole Hauser in supporting roles, nothing leading, but this one he shines. I've always liked Dennis Farina ever sinche I watched Snatch. Sizemore and Baldwin were excellent as two of the four members of the ruthless paparazzi hounding Cole's character. All in all, I found myself rooting for Hauser's character to get revenge and not get caught. The tension that was created was the paparazzi trying to come up with lies to get Hauser's character to do something stupid. Another source of tension is when it seemed as if Hauser's character is caught or the evidence showing that he might be involved, something happens to cause a distraction. Quite a good movie if you are looking for something short and sweet.
