I got to visit one of my best friends that I've ever had in my life.  The one thing we do to each other, is show each other movies that the other has never heard of before.  Usually they are so different and weird, that we both enjoy what we show each other.  Well, Mail Order Wife was no exception.  I found this movie so interesting that I couldn't turn away.  It was like watching a car wreck.  And with every twist and turn, you could just feel that something was going to go wrong.  At first when I was watching this, my mouth would just hit the floor seeing the things that Adrian did to Lichi.  I just found myself wanting to pound the guy and was hoping that someone would save the poor girl.  But then there are some twists and you see Andrew(the guy filming the documentary), really wasn't that much better.  But what made this even worse was the fact that Lichi was a raving psychopath, manipulator and a liar.  Not one character in this was likable.  I couldn't stand any of these characters by the end of the movie and thought that they all deserved each other.  This movie has no dull moments and I could not turn away.  This is a brilliant piece of film making though and this movie has quite a secret to it.  See if you can find it, because this was so brilliantly done, that someday soon, I will own a copy of this movie.  Get this if you are looking for something very different.
