In Mexico City, a former assassin swears vengeance on those who committed an unspeakable act against the family he was hired to protect.
Rating:9/10 When has Denzel Washington ever made a bad movie? I can't think of any at the top of my head right now. He was very gritty and tough in this movie. He really fleshed out his character very well. I don't think there are too many actors who could have done the job he did with the character. Very complex acting by this man. Christopher Walken was excellent as usual, even though he had a bit role. Dakota Fanning proves that she can stay with the big boys of Hollywood. Hopefully she doesn't have a breakdown like many former child stars who rose to super stardom. This movie is a great mixture of drama and action. The location of Mexico City adds to the feel of corruption and the seediness. Man on Fire is a very gripping movie that I just couldn't turn away from. I just can't go on enough on how good the acting really is. The only thing I didn't care much for in this movie is the camera work and the editing. This is though, one of the best revenge flicks I've ever seen.
