Before watching Vacancy, do not have high expectations for this. This could've so much more better, but this was just a typical cat and mouse game. This was more of an adult version of When a Stranger Calls. Very predictable. A by the numbers kind of horror movie. But it did have a fast pace to it and it really wasn't that boring. It was also good to see Luke Wilson in something a little different. It is always interesting to see if a typecast kind of actor can do something different. But the problem with this movie is that it starts off very tense and then the tension seems to get turned down. The ending was pretty bad as well. It was way too abrupt and silly. I know I'm jumping all over the pace here, but Frank Whaley gave a superb performance as one of the three villians. You could just tell that he was kind of creepy with a sense of voyeurism. But this is just an average thriller that I couldn't get into. Maybe worth a rent.
