Following an ever-growing epidemic of zombies that have risen from the dead, two Philadelphia SWAT team members, a traffic reporter, and his television-executive girlfriend seek refuge in a secluded shopping mall.
Rating:9/10 Another memorable movie in the Dead series by George Romero. With lots of gore, another foreboding of dread and quite a good story, this is a rare treat for a sequel to be almost as good as the original. Even though, there were a couple of scenes I thought were actually kind of stupid, this was very original, with an original setting. There were also some very original ways to kill some of the zombies as well. I do get a kick out of zombie movies that show a creative way to kill zombies. The acting was alright as well. It wasn't over the top except for the truck driving scene in which Scott Reiniger got a little carried away with his character for several minutes. And for such a long movie, the pace was amazingly quick. The character development was quite good as well, as by the end of the film, you actually cared for what happens to the characters.
