A series of Rashomon-like flashback accounts shape the story of how one man defeated three assassins who sought to murder the most powerful warlord in pre-unified China.
Rating:6/10 This was a lot more different than what I thought it was. This was more artistic with the photography and direction. Don't get me wrong. There is the amazing choreographed fight scenes here. I was very pleased with that. This was a fun movie for that purpose there. I guess I wasn't expecting so much with this. I knew there was going to be a bit of a story but not so complicated a story that it kind of dragged on for me. But some of the scenes were amazing. Especially when the soldiers are shooting their arrows at a calligraphy school and watching to of the martial artists fend off the attack. Amazing special effects there. Visually impressive, but that's about it. It is entertaining though with an alright story.
