What I really hate about modern documentaries, is that they are not informative pieces.  They are politcal propaganda pieces that state only half the facts and show only part of the story.  And these documentaries really don't give people any hope.  But this one is different.  Sure it has its politcal propaganda agenda(not as heavy as some films), but it is very informative.  The electric car was something I had very limited knowledge about.  But then again, the electric car was only offered in California.  Now I'm not sure how practical an electric car would be for me.  It would be good for around town and to go back and forth to work, but not for me to go visit my family and friends.  I'm sure the very cold weather around here wouldn't help though either.  But Wisconsin doesn't seem to have the environmental problems that California has(especially what is stated in the documentary.  If I'm wrong, inform me.  I'm always willing to learn.).  I do believe that we do need a subsitute or option to the gas car.  I'm sure environmentalists and non environmentalists would agree, though for different reasons.  But this is a pretty intelligent documentary about a David and Goliath situation that everyone should take notice.
