For an eighties horror movie, the acting wasn't all that bad.  Except for the lead, he wasn't that good.  Can you believe they passed up Brad Pitt and Christian Slater for the poor actor who was the lead.  Poor choice on the New Line's part anyway.  The story wasn't very good and it didn't keep with the original idea of the series.  Robert Englund, once again, makes a great villian.  As a matter of fact, I thought that Freddy was almost as creepy as he was in the last movie.  It was just too bad the script wasn't.  This was also kind of a boring watch as well.  I kept waiting for something exciting to happen, anything exciting and it just didn't.  Quite a bore this was.
