I guess I was expecting a lot more from this movie that what I got. While this was a pretty good story, it downgraded itself with the lack of mood and atmosphere that the original movie had. It was good to see Vincent Price in a very early role. Vincent Price was the one postive that I foud in this movie. Hearing him slowly fall into madness was a treasure and potential for what this man would become to horror movies. There were some humorous moments as well such as the detective and the constable outside the house hearing noises and thinking that the invisible man is around and it is just a cat got a chuckle from me as several other scenes got similar results. Then there were scenes that just dragged on way too long and was very close to putting me to sleep. This still was a good idea, I just wished it would have turned out better.
