When watching some of these old horror sci fi movies, you kind iof have to snicker at the special effects for these movies.  Especially if they are done as cheap as this movie was done.  But even though the movie started off slowly, the story was interesting.  They really didn't explain the creature all that much, or as much as I would have liked, but just enough to know what might be going on.  The first twenty minutes though are downright boring.  Whyen I first started watchign this, I was wondering what kind of snoozefest did I get myself involved with here.  After that though the movie picks up.  It's too bad this movie was made so cheaply, because the narrator sounded like he was doing a documentary.  I would rather have a narrator who has a point of view in the story, such as one of the characters.  This movie could have been so much more better with some money thrown at it, but then again, so would have many of the sci fi movies of its time.
