An insurance investigator begins discovering that the impact a horror writer's books have on his fans, is more than inspirational.
Rating:7/10 A pretty entertaining movie that seemd to show just a little too much. It started off very well by grabbing my attention and I was asking myself, what is going on here? Sam Neill played his part as John Trent perfectly, reasoning until the end as to the madness that is surrounding him. Jugen Prochnow as Sutter Cane was very believable as he has the look, the voice and the attitude to make you believe that he would bring around the apocalypse. The makeup was pretty cool as you could see who was infected by the eyes of those people, and it was kind of creepy looking. The monsters though looked pretty crappy, and it kind of threw me off there. The ending though, is the kind of ending that will stick with you for a long time, which makes it a very quality ending. One actress I wanted to point out was Julie Carmen. Was she stoned, or was it my imagination, because it looked like she was so tired and couldn't get into character. A real letdown on her part. This is a pretty original movie though and it is kind of fun to atch, with a very unpredictable ending.
