This movie was marketed so wrongly.  What you might not know about the movie The Ringer, is that it has tremendous heart to it.  Thisis a very enjoyable comedy that has a uniqueness to it.  It really does pull at the heartstrings a bit for a comedy.  The thing with this movie that really gave everyone low expectations was that it was a mix with the Special Olympics, Johnny Knoxville, and the farrelly Brothers.  It also really enlightens as well.  The acting job was tremendous by everyone involved.  Johnny Knoxville and Katherine Heigl had such great chemistry, that they looked like a great couple together.  Brian cox was also great as Johnny Knoxville's insensitive uncle.  The movie is a bit formulaic and predictable, it is still very funny and very heartwarming.  This is one that shouldn't be missed.
