Rating:8/10 The Woods is a very good movie that sets a deliberate pace and gradually builds the mood and atmosphere. This sin't you average type horror movie. It is very character driven. The cast really played out their roles well. Agnes Bruckner was very deserving of the lead role and she showed why. Cult favorite, Bruce Campbell was in the movie for about ten minutes, but it was a quality ten minutes. He really brings the little things to the table. He was in the film for the first five minutes and said not one thing, but this guy really conveyed his emotions about leaving his daughter behind with his terrific acting skills. There was a couple of plot holes and the ending was nothing great, but this movie is still worth taking the time and watching. It is a very satisfying horror movie with a strong vintage atmosphere that is highly entertaining.
