Rating:10/10 This is a classicaly visual film. With great locations and costumes, The Warriors are unforgetable just on that alone. But the story is excellent as well, especially the set up. But back to the constumes. This movie went all out showing the different styles of the gangs and some of the visual flair that they had. It was almost like a comic book in a way. True, this is probably not a accurate description of gangs back in the day, but they were unforgettable. Who cold ever forget the Baseball Furies. Those guys had a creepy look. This isn't a brutal or graphic movie though, as one would think, but it does create a very tense atmosphere. It is very fast paced and does not slow down until the very end. I know I was on the very edge of my seat watching this. The script is very well done, with some very catchy lines. Me and a friend wil yell to each other at work, "Can You Dig It!?!" Each of the characters from the Warriors are also unforgettable as they each have their own characterstic traits potrayed quite well in this movie. James Remar really stands out as the tough guy without fear, Ajax. Micheal Beck does a great job as the quiet but strong leader, Swan. David Patrick Kelly really stands out as the villian, the man who framed the Warriors for the murder of Cyrus. This is one of the best movies of a group of people trying to surivie against all odds and it is fun showing this movie to people who have never seen it. If you are one of those, get off your butt, rent it, and then get back on your butt and enjoy this classic film.
