In eighteenth century Romania, Rayne, a dhampir (half-human, half-vampire), prone to fits of blind blood rage but saddled with a compunction for humans, strives to avenge her mother's rape by her father, Kagan, King of Vampires. Two vampire hunters, Sebastian and Vladimir, from the Brimstone Society persuade her to join their cause.

Dreadful acting, horrible dialogue, extremly bad fight scenes. It is a highly flawed movie. There is nothing that works for this movie. Not one person does a good acting job. Kristanna Loken was horrible, void of any emotion. Uwe Boll is a soulless film maker. The script he wrote for this movie was so one dimensional. Even the editing was bad. The only thing that made this movie watchable was Michelle Rodriguez. At least she tried to do a good job, compared to Kinglesy and Madsen, both looking so bored and both with the worst acting jobs either of them have ever done.
