Ten years have passed since the world's children have fallen into a coma. Tonight they're waking up and all hell is breaking loose. An un-holy battle between the generations is being waged against all adults, and time is not on their side.
Rating:5/10 The Plague is a movie that starts off grabbing you by the throat and then for some reason, letting go. The first half hour, forty five minutes maybe were excellent. It had a very creepy atmosphere to start the movie off. This film builds up a creeping sense of despair. The actors, children and adolescents alike, did a great job with what they had to work with. Many of the children did indeed look very creepy. But after a little while, the director takes the tension he builds up and uses very cheap scare tactics that might scare a teenage girl. MNotice I said might. The real problem with this movie is the plausibility and the explanation as to what is really going on. The ending was horrible. Once again, no explanationas to what's really happening and you have to guess and then have more questions as to what happened and why. Really just a frustrating film to watch as it starts off so good, gets confusing and then leaves you wanting to ask more questions. Not really worth the time.
