Pelts
2006 Starring Meat Loaf, John Saxon, Ellen Ewusie, Link Baker Unrated 58 Minutes
A sleazy, desperate fur trader who haunts a local strip club, gets his hands on some priceless raccoon furs that might be more than just priceless but cursed.
Rating:7/10 When Dario Argento makes a horror film, it is a very unique experience. The story isn't always Argento's strong suit. What he brings to the table are visual shots and a great deal of gore. But this is still not a bad story. He also brings out the best as a director with the actors as well. Meat Loaf isn't kown for his acting chops, but does quite well while going over the top with his character. John Saxon does a good job per usual. Argento also brings a lot of gore to this little movie as well especially towards the end. Not surprising that you need a strong stomach to watch this as a person usually should when watching anything that Dario Argento does. You don't need your brain for this little movie, buit it is still a fun watch for horror movies.
