Santa Claus is actually a demon who lost a bet with an Angel, so he becomes the giver of toys and happiness. But when the bet is off, he returns to his evil ways.
Rating:6/10 Before I started watching Santa's Slay, I had really low expectations. You look at the title of the movie itself. Then you look at who is playing Santa Claus(Bill Goldberg). It doesn't seem like it would be a good fit. But within the first ten minutes of this movie, I was laughing myself silly. There were tons of cameos in this movie and in the first couple of minutes, we got to see Chris Kattan, Fran Drescher, Rebecca Gayheart and James Caan in some great moments in black comedy. Very very funny stuff. The lead, Douglas Smith had some decent lines, but was really boring and way too annoying. Robert Culp also looked very weak in his role as the grandfather. Emilie de Ravin had some great lines and did a really good job with the role she was given. And the big suprise was Bill Goldberg. He was hilarious as the murdering demon Santa Claus. If you follow pro wrestling, you will notice that Santa Claus uses several of Goldberg's signature moves. Even the stop animation in the middle of the movie was hilarious, as kind of a goof to all those stop animation cartoons in the sixties and seventies. But when two out of the four main characters are boring and don't put forth a great effort, the movie does seem like it is lacking. Sometimes the movie goes a little too stupid, but then it comes back down with something funny to bring it back to the entertaining gilm that it is.
