I am not a fan of the werewolf genre. As a matter of fact, I could count on one hand all the werewolf movies that I like. But An American Werewolf in London is one of my favorite horror/comedy movies. It started off with some good tension, but would have some perfectly timed comic relief from the living dead in the movie, who is trying to get the main character to kill himself. It was hilarious when all of his victims(living dead) are in a porno theater trying to suggest ways for the main character to kill himself. David Naughton was good, but Griffin Dunne was a scene stealer and Jenny Agutter was very nice to the eyes. Decently acted as well. But when you see the first transformation from man to werewolf, it is excellent. No CGI here or needed. Take the time to watch this horror classic. Not only is it funny, but it also has some very tense moments as well.
