Rating:2/10 When watching a movie called The Terror, you should at least get a couple of scares. At least opne or two. Nope, not a one. This was more like The Bore. Ugh! This was so boring that I had a hard time keeping my eyes open for this one. Roger Corman tried to create a creepy atmosphere with this, but couldn't. Boris Karloff looks like he was just there to do a job. He didn't seem to put much effort into this. Jack Nicholson was years away from having the charismatic screen presence that I am used to seeing. Besides, Nicholson doesn't sound or feel right to play the part of a Frenchman. More of a mystery, and a laughable one at that, the only reason to watch this is for the team of Nicholson and Karloff, otherwise skip this. This does not deserve to have the time to watch it.
