When Jason Bourne is framed for a botched CIA operation he is forced to take up his former life as a trained assassin to survive.
Rating:7/10 It is rare nowadays for a sequel to be any good let alone as good as the first movie, but The Bourne Supremacy is that rare exception. Once again, this is different than your normal action movie, but it is kind of the same as the first. That doesn't change much. That is not a bad thing though. That just means it is more dependent on the storyline and the good quality acting that was involved. Because this movie really depends on the plot, you really have to pay attention, as something that happens early in the film, really does affect the outcome. What also helps is that the movie is constantly on the go as our main character is as well. The movie is fast paced and the setting is constantly changing, such as starting in India, going France, Britian, Germany and ultimately in Russia. This also has some really good fighting scenes as I really enjoyed the fighting scene in which Damon fights a guy who ties his own hands up, and they go at it. The car chase scene towards the end is something right from a video game. The acting was also well done. Matt Damon shows he can handle being an action lead once again, and his interaction with Julia Stiles halfway through the movie was pretty intense because you weren't sure if Damon would've killer her or not. I also liked the scene where Damon had to tell a young woman the truth about her parents and as he was leaving, you could swear that everything was really taking its toll on Matt Damon. He looked like he took a beating and aged kind of hard. The cast was pretty good once again, but I didn't really care much for Franka Potenete this time around. Still, if you were a fan of the oringaL, I can't see why you wouldn't like this one as well.
