Turistas really started off on a good note.  While I was watching this, I thought that there were movies that I loved that many people thought were horrible.  Well after the opening scene with the bus, the movie went right downhill very quickly.  Very quickly.  What didn't help this movie, was markieting it as a torture movie.  You cannot compare this to other torture movies, because there is no comparison.  Somebody said that this was the movie Hostel should have been.  They were wrong.  This was not a torture movie.  There was a brutal killing or two, but the rest of the deaths were pretty quick.  The gunshot wounds to the head looked kind of cool.  Another problem was the cinematography of the night scenes.  I couldn't see nothing.  The chase scenes were pointless because you just couldn't see anything.  The ending was way too predictable.  You could almost see that coming as soon as it was starting to develop.  There wasn't a whole lot of charisma from the characters as well.  They just didn't really have anything to make you really care about them.  There is really nothing in this movie that could keep my interest though.
