Sometimes a good ending is what can really change your mind about a film and that is how I felt about Deathwatch. I mean, this movie was at such a slow pace, that I fell asleep, woke up and fell asleep again. So when I woke up again, I forced myself top sit through this. It was slow. The acting wasn't too bad though. As a matter of fact, now that I think of it, it was kind of decent. The death scenes were pretty cool to watch if you are into the horror genre. The one scene that really got me was the scene with the rats. I'm not going to spoil it, but that scene made me go ewww! That rarely happens for me. But what makes this movie a seven was the ending. The ending really explains it all and makes you trealize whatr is really happening and I love those kinds of endings. And it really made sense. But the problem was, once again with feeling, was the pace of the movie. Yeah, I'm not the young guy I used to be and I do enjoy the occasional nap, but this isn't the time I normally take my nap. It just kind of dragged on. Of course this is going to get comparisons to other war/horror movies like The Bunker and Dog Soldiers. While I think Dog Soldiers was better than this, The Bunker was not and for all the same reasons, except that The Bunker didn't have the cool ending that this had.
