Alien brain parasites, entering humans through the mouth, turn their host into a killing zombie. Some teenagers start to fight against them.
Rating:7/10 This movie is a decent nod or homage if you will to those sci-fi/horror movies of the 50's and 60's. This is a straight up B movie that is kind of fun to watch. There are several familiar faces including a quick walk on with George Clooney. But the acting was something left to be desired though. Sometimes the lead performed by Jason Lively was a little annoying, especially when he was yelling at someone. And I ususally enjoy Tom Atkins, but everytime I heard him say "Thrill me" I keopt thinking of a cheese pizza for some reason. Of course there had to be a love story tacked on, and that kind of added a lameness factor to it as well. But it was fun to watch and laugh at, especially during the begining when you seen the aliens in bad suits, the kind of cool make up effects that made the cat and dog look a little creepy. This film won't be appreciated by just anyone, but if you do enjoy a good mix of horror comedy, then this little underrated and underappreciated gem is for you.
