When his daughter is kidnapped and held in exchange for priceless diamonds, the leader of a crew of highly skilled urban thieves forges an unlikely alliance with a Taiwanese Intelligence officer to rescue her. Their race against the clock to find the precious stones ultimately unravels a plot to distribute a deadly new weapon of war.

If you watch Cradle 2 the Grave, there are only a few reasons to watch it. The fight scenes were amazing. Jet Li really lets it all hang out and makes it look easy while he is doing it. The guy just does some amazing things. DMX had some movies as well. Not as good as Jet Li, but not bad. The fight scene between Tito Ortiz and Jet Li was interesting. Let Li throws a kick and a punch and Ortiz isn't even fazed. That was good. The chase sceme between DMX and the police while he is riding an ATV was also really good looking. Especially when his character is jumping from building to building. Now that was crazy. The other thing I liked about the movie was some of the humor involved. Mostly from Tom Arnold, just a little from Anthony Anderson, but I actually enjoyed Tom Arnold. I loved the conversation that Tom Arnold and Anthony Anderson had at the end of the movie and discussing what happened at the end of Exit Wounds. Really funny stuff there. The other thing I liked was Gabrielle Union. Wow, that girl has a smile any guy can fall in love with. Aside from that, this was not a great movie. The acting from DMX was not that great. When you compare DMX's performance in this to Never Die Alone, he was atrocious in this. In Never Die Alone, he was excellent. Here, he was totally unbelievable. He didn't seem to fit the part and just didn't seem right. It was entertaining as far as the action scenes go, but nothing much after that.
