This is a movie that is not for everyone.  If you enjoyed the movie called The Toxic Avenger, this might be for you.  This reminded me of the Toxic avenger is just about everyway, except that the fight scenes in this movie were so much better in this.  There was lots of blood.  There couldn't have been a scene that went by that didn't have blood splattering all over the place.  There was so much cheesy dialogue and intentional over the top acting that I found myself laughing quite a bit.  But sometimes it felt like it wold go to far with the acting, dialogue and blood and it would start to lose its charm the closer we got to the end.  At times the CGI would get a bit distracting as well as it kind of made the movie a little more cartoonish.  But then again, this movie as a whole reminded me of a very violent comic book.  One thing I will also say about this movie is that it is very refreshing to watch.  It is a bit different when it comes to the weapons that are used such as a super machine gun for an arm or how about the Drill Bra!  I got a huge laugh out of that.  So if you are looking for a grindhouse, exploitive, violent cartoonish super hero like movie with tons of blood and gore, you will not go wrong with The Machine Girl.
