When watching a movie like Maximum Overdrive, the first thing you should do is to turn off your brain.  This movie has a lot of flaws.  I mean, a lot of flaws.  But the one thing this movie isn't, is boring.  Lots of excitement and original kills to this one.  Where can you see a soda machine attack little leaguers?  The scene that stands out the most is when a steamroller rolls over an innocent kid.  That scene stuck with me for years.  Another thing that stands out with this movie is the awesome soundtrack from AC/DC.  I still kind of rock out to this to this day.  The acting was ok, but would someone tell Yeardley Smith to shut the hell up.  Oh my God, If I have to hear the name Curtis one more time, I'm going to be driven nuts.  How annoying.  Not a bad movie, but this isn't the worst Stephen King movie by a stretch.
