The Exorcist III
1990 Starring George C. Scott, Ed Flanders, Brad Dourif, Jason Miller, Samuel L. Jackson Rated R 110 Minutes
A serial killer haunts the streets of Georgetown, do these events have anything to do with the exorcism of 15 years ago?
Rating:7/10 This is the actual sequel to The Exorcist originally titled Legion. It is a better sequel to the Exorcist than The Heretic was. Thuis was a bit more of a mystery/thriller with an exorcism and some gore thrown in. Brad Dourif, famous for Chucky in Child's Play, gives an outstanding performance. That guy can act. He gets into his character one hundred percent and he doesn't hold back. Much of the violence is communicated in dialogue challenging your mind to fill in the blanks as to what happened. There is one scene that scared the crap out of me and I won't reveal it. But you will know it when you see it. The mood to this movie is dark and thick. This is a good character driven movie, but it does get a tad boring for a bit, but then it really picks up with the scenes that include Dourif and George C. Scott. The ending seemed rushed and a little out of place, but this is stillworth the time to watch.
