Rating:9/10 I normally cannot stand action movies. To me, they are jsut the same thing over and over and over again with pretty much the same people. Now, I gave Crank a nice rating even with a star like Jason Statham. He is one of the few action stars I don't mind. He has got the charm and charisma to keep a good movie flowing and that was key to this movie. If Statham and the two directors(Neveldine and Taylor) couldn't keep this movie flowing as well as they did, this movie would have been an absolute flop. Not only that, but this had an interesting premise and was unpredictable. The begining of this movie though grabs you by the neck and just refuses to let you go. I wasn't distracted by anything. I just wanted to keep watching to see what was next. Now this is how a movie should be made when making them from video games because it sure as hell had a video game feel to it. This also had the feel of a music video as music was playing almost non stop to give the feel that this movie was nonstop and intense. Amy Smart was alright and had some funny lines, but she wouldn't have been my first choice in this role. I'm not saying she was bad, because I do find her entertaining and she was entertaining at times in this, but I think that there had to be somebody better for that role. But when you think thrill a minute or a rollercoater of a movie, Crank should be the first to pop out of anyones mouth. I loved it, great job.
